Established in 2011, Foss Farm is a private small scale farm serving San Luis Obispo County in California and Beyond.

We are Breeder of Japanese Coturnix Quail; raised humanely and ethically for meat and eggs.

We Specialize in youth Horse back-riding lessons. AND

we grow seasonal crops.

Passion is fueled by Jenn the Owner and Operator of Foss Farm in Atascadero, Ca. She is a firm believer that with hard work, dedication and drive anything is possible!

Jenn did not come from farming roots. As a San Jose Bay area transplant, Jenn always knew that the farm life was calling her. In High School Jenn participated in Rodeo's, 4-H, and local horse shows. She brought home biology projects that survived, such as baby chickens as well as many other animals.

When Jenn was 19 years old she left home and never returned. Here in San Luis Obispo County she planted her roots, she met her now husband, bought her small urban farm and had a beautiful daughter who even at a young age is following the many footsteps and responsibilities of the farm life.

Jenn's education background has also gone what you can call full circle..... She interned in high school with a large animal vet, as an adult she went to school for Early childhood education and Development, Emergency medical Tech, Nursing, and is a fine art major as well, Jenn also holds certificates in welding, fine art, program & curriculum for children's programs, and medical assisting.

Jenn is a firm believer that people and CHILDREN need to know where their food comes from and to know their farmer!

Jenn has been called upon by parents and teachers, to educate children and allow them to understand the circle of life and the ways of her farm. Jenn is a great resource because she is a hands on farmer, she is tilling her garden, doing face to face meetings with restaurants and chefs, and she butchers the birds herself. Stating " when I started this journey it was mine, I had to own it, live it and do it."

On the farm Jenn runs the farm in what she calls "Organized chaos." stating "I have a lot going on, all the time", "but I like it that way so I cant complain"

Jenn is extremely humbled by all the community support and fully knows that without her clients and community support this would be a dream

Healthy is tasty
